My name is Dave Foote and I have been a coin collector since I was 11 years old.  My interest in coin collecting started on my paper route when one of my customers gave me a large cent for a tip.  I was so excited and that excitement for coins has never left me.  

After collecting for years my next big step was to start buying and selling.  Over the years, as a coin dealer, I have purchased millions of dollars in coins and currency collections from estates and individuals.  That lead me to our shop, THE COIN COLLECTOR and that business venture was very successful.  While running the shop, we built our website and began buying and selling coins over the Internet (established in 1997).  Our website has been so successful that we closed our shop and devoted all our efforts to making an even more successful website.
